Entrance Exam Schedule for SY 2018-2019

Application Procedure for AY 2018-2019

    ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

    1. Secure a Student Application Form from NTMA's website, or visit NTMA's Office of the Registrar in the Administration Building, Knowledge Avenue, Carmeltown, Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna.
    2. Fill-out the Student Application Form and attach a 1.5 x 1.5 white background ID picture.
    3. Submit duly accomplished Application Form to the Office of the Registrar via email to admission@ntma.edu.ph.
    4. Take the NTMA Entrance Examination in designated Test Center. Schedule of Entrance Examination is posted in the NTMA Website. Entrance Examination is FREE and will take about 2.5 hours.
    5. Each applicant must present a valid school ID.
    6. Examination covers the following subject areas: English, Basic Math, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Chemistry, and Physics.
    7. Results of the Written Examination will be released and announced at the Test Center in the afternoon of the examination date.
    8. Written exam passers will be required to undergo the Ishihara Color Blind Test, height measurement, and oral interview.
    9. Test results will be posted in the website of NTMA (www.ntma.edu.ph) on the first week of November.
    10. INSTRUCTIONS TO QUALIFIED APPLICANTS

    11. .Visit the website of NTMA at www.ntma.edu.ph by 2017 November 04 for final results.
    12. Check email for the schedule of Pre-Enrolment Briefing and the list of documentary requirements.
    13. Contact the Office of the Registrar not later than 2017 December 10 if no email was received.
    14. Submit documentary requirements before the given deadline.
    15. Attend the given date for Pre-Enrolment Briefing (PEB)* and Pre-Enrolment Medical Examination (PEME)**.
    16. *Documents to prepare for Pre-Enrolment Briefing

    17. Duly Notarized Waiver for Physical Fitness Test (form to be provided via email).
    18. Original Copy of PSA-authenticated Birth Certificate.
    19. Certified True Copy Report Card for Senior High School or Certified True Copy Grades for College Level/Graduate.
    20. Proof of Income for both parents (as applicable)
      • Employed - copy of the latest Income Tax Return (ITR)
      • OFW - copy of contract or Certificate of Employment with compensation (COE)
      • Unemployed - copy of BIR Tax Exemption Certificate
      • Self-Employed or with Own Business - copy of detailed description of the nature of work or business & copy of financial statement of the previous year.
    21. Photocopy of school ID of cadet-applicant.
    22. Photocopy of one of any valid government-issued ID of both parents/guardians.
    23. One (1) pc. each of 1.5x1.5 ID picture with white background of both parents.
    24. Two (2) pcs of 1.5 x 1.5 ID picture with white background of the student-applicant.
    25. One (1) LBC Prepaid Padala (small pouch) which can be purchased from any LBC Branches (Prepaid pouch must contain: Sender - NTMA; Receiver - Student)
    26. **Prepare the following for Pre-Enrolment Medical Examination (PEME):

    27. Empty bottle for stool sample (to submit on the day of PEME)
    28. Two (2) pcs. 1x1 ID Picture
    29. School or any valid ID (with Picture & Signature) of student-applicant

    30. Reminders : PEME is FREE and only cadet-applicants who attended the PEB are allowed to undergo PEME at the Transnational Diagnostic and Medical Center (TMDC) in Intramuros, Manila
